Admissions Calendar and Application Deadlines

The below is a list of application submission deadline dates. If any deadline date falls on a non-working date, then the deadline will be moved to the following working day. Please check back as we will be updating this page regularly with finalized dates and new events.

Fall Undergraduate Application Submission Deadline Dates

  • December 15 – Early Admissions 
  • March 31 – Regular Admissions 
  • June 1 – Rolling Admissions*

* applicants who apply by the rolling admissions deadline will be considered on a space-available basis. 

 

Spring Graduate Application Submission Deadline

  • December 1

Spring 2017 admission is now closed. Check back in October 2017 for updates on which programs will offer spring admission for Spring 2018.

 

Fall Graduate Application Submission Deadline Dates

*  IMPORTANT UPDATE: The following programs have extended their rolling admissions deadline to July 15, 2017 given a lack of test dates available in country. They include the Political Science and International Affairs, Laws, Economics, Public Health, Computer and Information Science, and Industrial Engineering and Systems Management Master’s programs. 

  • January 31 – Early Admissions
  • April 30 – Regular Admissions*
  • June 30 – Rolling Admissions** 

* The April 30 regular admissions deadline date for Fall 2017 is May 2 since both April 30 and May 1 are non-working days. 
** MSSM applicants are not eligible for rolling admissions as classes for the program will commence during the summer term. All other applicants submitting complete applications by the rolling admissions deadline date are considered on a space-available basis.

 

Military Deferment

Graduate Applicants Only: Applicants who submit complete applications on or by the regular admissions deadline date will be given preference for military deferment. Please refer to military deferment for more information. 

 

Certificate Programs Application Submission Deadline Dates

  • January 31 – Early Application 
  • April 30 – Regular Application
  • August 1 – Rolling Application* 

 * The rolling application deadline date is only available for the Certificate in Translation program. Applicants submitting complete applications by the rolling application deadline date are considered on a space-available basis.

 

Non-Degree Student Status Application Submission Deadline Dates

  • August 1 – Fall Semester 
  • December 1 – Spring Semester 

 

Tuition Assistance/International Scholarship Submission Deadline Dates

Admission Status Notification Dates

Applicants who submit complete application packages by AUA admission deadline dates will receive notification of their admission status by email, up to twelve weeks after each admission deadline date. Graduate program applicants who apply by the rolling admissions deadline date will be notified of their status no later than two weeks prior to the start of classes.
