AUA has a limited number of military deferment spots available for male applicants with Armenian citizenship, making the process of receiving military deferment competitive.
To be considered for military deferment, you must first indicate so on your Application for Admission and submit your application for admission by the regular admissions deadline date. Military deferment spots are allocated based on the quality of applicants with consideration to equity among programs. The Office of Admissions will notify only those applicants who receive military deferment by mid-June.
