Tuition

You should carefully consider the financing of your education at AUA from the time of admission to the completion of your degree. Upon enrollment, students sign an educational contract with AUA, establishing tuition for the duration of the contract. All fees are paid in AMD (֏).

At the time of registration, applicants are classified as:

  • Citizens of the Republic of Armenia*; 
  • Holders of Armenian Special Passports for Special Residency Status (commonly known as the 10-year visa); or
  • International Students

Financial Aid Options: AUA practices need-blind admissions. Citizens of the Republic of Armenia receive an automatic subsidy off the total cost of their tuition. In addition, the University offers need-based and merit-based tuition assistance for Armenian citizens that may discount the cost of education further. International students are eligible for merit-based scholarships. Various options of financial aid include installment payment plans, deferred payment, work-study opportunities, international scholarships, tuition assistance for Armenian citizens only), and merit scholarships.
