Strategic Management

The Manoogian Simone College of Business and Economics (CBE) offers a Master of Science in Strategic Management (MSSM) to prepare graduates for mid-level careers or further studies in business, management and related fields.

With a strong foundation in quantitative analysis, the program is designed to produce evidence-based decision-makers who apply critical thinking, creative approaches to problem solving, with an ethical mindset. Students deepen their knowledge in the main functional areas of business–finance, accounting, operations management and marketing–and will apply core management theories and concepts to challenging real-world situations.

The curriculum aims to:

  • Equip students with conceptual and theoretical knowledge and applied skills in finance, accounting, operations and marketing to engage in evidence-based management decision-making
  • Prepare students for careers or further studies in business and management

AUA aims to prepare not only well-grounded specialists but also well-rounded individuals, able to think critically and creatively, to learn independently, to understand different thought processes, to work collaboratively, and to communicate effectively with people from different cultures and disciplines.

Career options for graduates of this program include companies involved in production and export of goods and services, large and medium importing distribution companies in various industries (e.g. food, FMCG), financial institutions (banking, insurance), business consulting, corporate strategic planning, real estate, etc.
